Injured man found with suspected stab wounds

A MAN is in hospital with suspected stab wounds after being found injured in the street in broad daylight.

Emergency services were called to Victoria Road East in Hebburn, South Tyneside shortly before 3pm on Tuesday.
Northumbria Police confirmed that officers were responding to a report of concern for the welfare of a man when they discovered a man in his 40s with injuries consistent with having been caused bya blade.
