Details of flights to Iceland are revealed

An airline has announced details of its 'once-in-a-lifetime' trips to a major bucket list destination taking off from Newcastle International Airport.

Flights to Iceland will be taking off from next year as part of Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks Winter 26/27 programme.

It includes two weekly scheduled flights (Friday and Monday) operating from October 23 to November 16, 2026, and February 15 to April 12, 2027. The airline says the services are perfectly timed for the October half-term, February half-term and Easter holidays, making them great for families looking for adventure.
