MARK Allison, better known as Run Geordie Run, is taking on another extraordinary charity challenge, running 3,200 miles across America from New York to California in just 100 days.
That's an astonishing 32 miles a day, the equivalent of running two and a half Great North Runs every single day for over three months.
Now just over two weeks in, the journey has already proven to be as gruelling as expected. But for Mark, this isn’t unfamiliar territory. Having already raised over £360,000 for charity through his epic fundraising runs, he’s no stranger to pushing the limits of human endurance.
