A TEAM of data scientists will aim to help the North East tackle some of its most pressing challenges as part of a scheme backed by a world-leading business figure.
founder and former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg
The i-team initiative that will work with the North East Combined Authority is supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the organisation set up by financial data company Bloomberg's founder and former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg.
The three-person team will deploy data and collect insights to help the authority find better solutions to issues such as child poverty, housing and decarbonisation.
