DISCUSSIONS are to take place at Gateshead Council on how to allocate £30,000 to improve fitness among women and girls.

Gateshead Council's women and girls committee will meet next week to discuss and support the allocation of £30,000 targeting physical activity among the female population.
Council documents state the local authority will work with partners to find where the greatest need for the funding is.
