Armstrong 'gobsmacked' at Heed result

GATESHEAD boss Alun Armstrong admitted he was left “gobsmacked" after his side scored four goals in the opening 12 minutes of a 5-2 win against National League strugglers Morecambe.
Harry Chapman and Connor Pani each scored twice while Kain Adom netted his eighth goal of the season to extend his lead in the club's top scorer table and secure three points.
It was Gateshead's second straight win on the road, having snapped a six-game winless run in the league against Braintree Town on Saturday.
Armstrong said: “I really was gobsmacked. | think many people were, even the players were, because some of the football we played was unbelievable. We didn't score goals through mistakes - it was through how well we started the game.
