All officers hurt in A1 crash have left hospital

ALL of the officers who were hospitalised after a collision on the A1 last week have been discharged from hospital.
-
Seven officers were taken to hospital following the crash, which happened while the force's Roads Policing Unit were in pursuit of a BMW M Sport.
Northumbria Police posted on Facebook: “We wish them all a full recovery. Thank you all for your kind messages - they mean a great deal.”
