Pakistan took a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series against South Africa with a 93-run win. Shaheen Afridi and Noman Ali picked four-fers in the second innings with the latter eventually finishing with match figures of 10 for 130.

South Africa required 226 runs at the start of Day 4 with eight wickets in hand but they were dealt with a body blow on the third ball of the day as centurion from the first innings, Tony de Zorzi, was trapped LBW by Afridi. Noman who had two wickets overnight in his kitty scalped Tristan Stubbs cheaply as South Africa began to stutter early on.
Mohammad Rizwan then missed a tricky stumping chance of Ryan Rickelton off Noman.
