Moves afoot to resume direct flights between SL and Israel

Cabinet spokesman Dr. Nalinda Jayathissa yesterday (05) announced that the governments of Sri Lanka and Israel were exploring the possibility of resuming direct flights to and from Israel.

The Minister said so at yesterday's post-Cabinet media briefing. Dr. Jayathissa reminded that since May last year Israeli aircraft hadn't landed in Sri Lanka.
