Mahinda through to semis after second innings scare

Mahinda College, Galle survived a scary second innings collapse before advancing to the semifinals of the Under 15 Division I schools cricket tournament on first innings points against St. Anthony's College Wattala at Panadura on Sunday.
The boys from Galle rode on the prowess of their pace department to seal the semifinal spot against a team that displayed fighting spirits till the end.
Mahinda secured first innings advantage by restricting St. Anthony's to 108 runs in reply to their 121. Paceman Gesandu Bisas led the way with a five wicket haul.
