Kiwi craftsmanship outclasses gritty Tuskers in Colombo finale

The New Zealand Under-85kg side — part artisans, part assassins — wrapped up a commanding 2-0 series win over Sri Lanka, claiming the Sir Graham Henry Trophy with a 32-6 victory at Race Course.

The importance of this tour — a rare visit by rugby powerhouse New Zealand — extended far beyond the scoreboard. In a sport where pedigree often overshadows aspiration, the presence of men in black was a gesture of rugby diplomacy, a masterclass offered with open arms.
