ITAK MP moves private member's bill seeking to expedite PC polls

ITAK Batticaloa District MP Shanakiyan Rasamanickam yesterday presented a private member's Bill titled "Bill to amend the Provincial Councils Elections Act, No 2 of 1988", seeking to have the much-delayed Provincial Council elections held soon.

MP M. Nizam Kariapper seconded the Bill.
