Attack on Iran worse than invasion of Iraq - NSC
The Island
|June 16, 2025
The National Shoora Council (NSC) has condemned Israeli attacks on Iran last Friday (13).
-
The text of the NSC statement: “The NSC strongly condemns Israeli attacks on Iran’s electricity-generating civilian nuclear plants, which could have resulted in extensive radiation leaks, causing death and destruction to millions in the region. US President Donald Trump must be equally condemned for admiring the Israeli attacks as “excellent’ as quoted by the BBC.
The undeclared attacks were launched by “nuclear armed Israel”, provoking “non-nuclear armed Iran” into an uncalled-for war on the pretext of unresolved nuclear-related issues hitherto dealt with through dialogue by the United Nations’ International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
