Poverty at heart of campaign
The Irvine Herald
|October 08, 2025
A vital campaign aimed at helping people who are living in crisis is being backed by North Ayrshire Council.
The authority are once again proudly backing Challenge Poverty Week.
The week-long drive, which runs from Monday, October 6 to Sunday, October 12, shines a light on poverty and what we can do to help make life better for people who are struggling to make ends meet.
Arranged by the Poverty Alliance charity, the week of events and awareness raising inspires communities to work together, support each other and find new ways to change attitudes.
