Local rent debt below the Scottish average

The gross rent arrears (all tenants) as a percentage of rent due for the year was eight per cent at the latest data release from September.

This is higher than the family group average of 7.7 per cent, but lower than the Scottish average of 8.6 per cent.

North Ayrshire are second lowest in their family group (of five local authorities) with only West Dunbartonshire Council performing less strongly.
