Thug spat at ex and sent video of bullets to her new partner

A DEWSBURY thug who sent a video of bullets to his ex’s new partner has been put behind bars.

Josh Topps, 22, had been in a relationship with the woman since May 2024, but it deteriorated in September the same year when she moved back in with her parents. Topps’ vile behaviour went from bad to worse when, a few days after Christmas on December 28, he attacked her.

Prosecutor Temitayo Desaolu told Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday: “She got a text to see him at his home and as she walked through the door he kicked her twice. He also... threw her onto the bed by her hair and spat in her face twice.

“He took her phone from her. She had to ask for it back repeatedly before he returned it to her. He grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the floor before asking her to leave. She called the police”
