A HUDDERSFIELD community group is raising funds to help pay for its 2025 Christmas celebration.

- By SEBASTIAN MCCORMICK

The Lindley Community Group are raising the money to pay for the Lindley Christmas Evening 2025. This annual celebration attracts hundreds of people from across Huddersfield and brings together music, food, entertainment and more to celebrate Christmas and the winter season.

However, the event will only be able to go ahead if enough money is raised through donations as they receive little funding from Kirklees Council. The group have now launched a crowdfunding appeal to raise the money. With Christmas moving closer and closer, there are only a few weeks left to raise the funds.
