Gooch urges the Terriers to start killing games off

HUDDERSFIELD Town defender Lynden Gooch acknowledged that his side have "got to do better" following their late collapse against Bolton Wanderers.

The Terriers suffered a 2-1 defeat to Wanderers at the Accu Stadium on Thursday evening, with Town conceding two injury-time goals to leave them empty-handed from the contest.

Lee Grant's side had led since the early stages of the clash through Leo Castledine’s header, but the hosts were unable to see the game out and lost the match in dramatic fashion.

Reflecting on the defeat after the game, Gooch told BBC Radio Leeds: “I'm still trying to process it really - really disappointing.

“I thought we defended really well second half, they came at us and for 93 minutes or whatever it was, I thought we were brilliant.

“I haven't seen the goals back, but obviously really disappointed.

“Obviously they came on really strong, and sometimes when you have something to protect that happens [you lose control of the game].

“A really tough end to the game, and we'll have to analyse it, and try and do better.
