Brighouse-based Building Bridges Food Hub has applied to Calderdale Council seeking planning permission and listed building consent to convert former office space at the Briggate building into the flats.

The Grade II listed building itself was formerly a bank of another sort - a branch of Barclay’s Bank, say supporting statements with the application.

It is currently used as food distribution hub by Building Bridges, which is a registered charity.
