A Leeds-based steel manufacturing and distribution firm is aiming to reach new heights and double its turnover within five years after completing the Help to Grow: Management Course.

Founded in 1987, the family business, Anglo Stainless, has had to adapt to deregulation and rising international competition.

But under managing director Steve Brooke's leadership, Anglo Stainless has expanded beyond manufacturing stainless-steel products to include engineered components for sectors like construction, food and beverage, petrochemicals and engineering.

Realising that scaling required more than just hard work, Steve enrolled on the Help to Grow: Management Course.

HOW THE COURSE HAS HELPED

The 12-week course, which was launched in 2021, is now available at Small Business Charter-accredited business schools in Leeds and across Yorkshire.

The 90% government-funded leadership course gave Steve frameworks to sharpen business strategy, improve marketing strategy, and enhance people management.
