MORGAN Whittaker’s superb season for Plymouth Argyle has been recognised by his inclusion in the EFL Championship Team of the Season.
The talented 23-year-old attacker, who was the subject of a 10 million euro bid for Italian side Lazio in January, was named in the TOTS during the 2024 EFL Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London, on Sunday night.
Leeds United had the trio of former Exeter City defender Ethan Ampadu, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter selected, while Leicester City - who lost 1-0 to Argyle at Home Park on Friday night - had two representatives in Mads Hermansen and Kiernan DewsburyHall.
