Services give Camborne plenty to think about

DEVONPORT Services gave Camborne plenty to think about for more than an hour before slipping to a 43-26 defeat on the Recreation Ground.
Although Services are already resigned to relegation from National Two West at the end of the season, they arrived at second-placed Camborne with a couple of targets in sight.
Target one for Services was proving they are a better side than the one Camborne pasted 70-7 on the Rectory Field earlier in the season. Target two was picking-up points towards their aim of avoiding finishing bottom of the table.
Services trail Bournville at the bottom of the table. The two teams meet on the last day of the season to determine who collects the wooden spoon.
Kieran Leach, Services' team manager, felt it was mission accomplished on both fronts.
"Camborne is a tough environment for any visiting team as the crowd are hostile - and when it was 14-all at half time they did not like it," said Leach.
