Police station has to be evacuated after GRENADES handed in

THE bomb squad had to evacuate Charles Cross Police Station after members of the public arrived with hand grenades.

Devon and Cornwall Police said two people visited Charles Cross Police Station on Thursday, January 29 to hand in the two devices. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit was called to the scene and a 100m cordon was put in place around the building.
