PLYMOUTH Argyle are entering a very important four-week period of their 2024/25 Championship campaign as they fight to escape relegation.

Pilgrims facing vital run of fixtures before international break

The 23rd-placed Pilgrims have six league games between now and the final international break of the season next month and five of them are against teams currently in the bottom seven of the table.

That very important run of games starts with a match away to bottomof-the-table Luton Town at Kenilworth Road tomorrow (7.45pm), with just a point separating the two sides at the moment, so the importance of the fixture is obvious.

Argyle will then have a quick turnaround for their Saturday lunchtime clash against 20th-placed Cardiff City at Home Park (12.30pm).

The Pilgrims are currently four points behind the Bluebirds, who thrashed them 5-0 in the Welsh capital last October.
