The Herald
|July 16, 2025
A PLYMOUTH mum has revealed how she grew her hair and beauty business by studying marketing even through pregnancy.
Natalie Hargreaves has spent nine years working in the hair industry and over a year and a half in beauty, and has added professional qualifications to her experience to grow her fledgling business.
The 27-year-old holds Level 2 and 3 diplomas in Hairdressing and is also a certified Hair Extension Specialist. Her skill set extends into the beauty and aesthetics field, including certifications in brow lamination, waxing and tinting, hybrid tint, body waxing, and lash lift and tint.
Newly qualified in the advanced Permanent Makeup (PMU) techniques of microblading and shading, Natalie recently trained under Ellie Temple and Jemma James at PMU Temple in Plymouth.
While on maternity leave, the beautician studied business and administration as well as social media and marketing to better understand the technical side of entrepreneurship.
