McPhee wants to keep the momentum going

PLYMOUTH Parkway manager Chris McPhee has called on his players to keep the wagon moving ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Hungerford Town in the Southern League Premier Division.

The Yellows came through a highly eventful midweek fixture against Taunton Town with maximum points, thanks to goals from Rocky Neal and Jacob Smith, although they were helped by a red card to Peacocks defender Jack Rice after just 50 seconds of the contest.

By the time the players walked off for halftime, Taunton boss Richard Luffman had still not calmed down and angrily confronted Parkway players as they headed for the dressing room. That led to him being sent off as well, but McPhee was delighted with the way his players kept cool and didn’t get involved in any nonsense.

“When you have been in football as long as I have, you think you have seen everything... but I have never seen anything like that before,” McPhee said with videos of Luffman’s actions going viral on social media.
