Galloway insists tha Pilgrims will fight to the end

DEFENDER Brendan Galloway is sure the Green Army will be 'singing loud and proud again' when Plymouth Argyle take on their former manager Steven Schumacher and his Stoke City side at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday.

The Pilgrims have already sold out their allocation of 2,600 tickets for the fixture in the Potteries, which will be the first time they have come up against Schumacher since he left Home Park in December.

Argyle will go into that game with confidence after beating table topping Leicester City 1-0 on Friday night after a first half goal from Mustapha Bundu.

They moved up to 16th position in the Championship as a result, but then dropped to 18th on Saturday after Millwall won 3-1 at home to Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers triumphed 1-0 at Leeds United.

Argyle are two places and one point above Stoke, who came from behind to draw 1-1 at Sheffield Wednesday with an equaliser from former Pilgrims' loan signing Luke Cundle.

With Birmingham City winning 3-0 at home to Coventry City and Huddersfield conceding a last-gasp penalty as they drew 1-1 away to Bristol City it all leaves the Pilgrims four points clear of the drop zone with three more matches to play after their superb win against Leicester.

Galloway said: "It was amazing, a great result for us, a great result for the fans. The noise they gave us, that extra percentage they gave us. We always want to work hard for them and give those extra yards and it was a great feeling.
