AFTER a cool 64 years in music, Elkie Brooks has announced her Long Farewell Tour, that will take in dozens of venues around the UK, starting this Autumn and stopping of in Devon next Spring.
A celebration of her illustrious, award-winning six decades in music, the tour features Elkie performing her biggest hits with her incredible live band in a remarkable, career-spanning show which touches on blues, rock and jazz. Fans will also be able to hear material from Elkie's forthcoming 21st studio album for the very first time at these new UK live dates.
An exceptional performer with an unmistakable voice which has earned her the moniker 'British Queen Of Blues, Elkie never fails to captivate her audience and as the Guardian music critic recently stated, she is "still one of the great British voices".
