Family-run restaurant in old mill is turning 20

AFAMILY-run pub and restaurant in Avonwick is to mark its 20th anniversary in December, having since passed on the reins of their business to the next generation.
The Turtley Corn Mill team as the firm hits 20
Avonwick’s Turtley Corn Mill was opened on December 5, 2005, and is celebrating two decades as an independent, family-run pub and restaurant at the heart of the community.
Turtley is one of an increasingly scarce number of family-owned pubs in Devon, with three generations of the family now working side-by-side.
Opened by Bruce and Lesley Brunning, their daughter Sam Colton has now taken the reins, with her son Archie (15) learning the ropes behind the scenes - making it a three-generation family business.
