OFSTED INSPECTORS HAIL IMPROVEMENTS
IVYBRIDGE Community College has been singled out by Ofsted for its remarkable progress, with inspectors stating that its work “may have improved significantly across all areas since the previous inspection.”
A large mixed secondary school with 2,424 pupils, including 400 in the sixth form, the college was visited by inspectors in February for an ungraded inspection.
But inspectors found such substantial evidence of improvement that the college is now due to receive a full graded inspection.
The report is full of praise for the school’s leadership, curriculum, behaviour, personal development offer and culture of safeguarding.
