THE founder of Rhythm City dance school in Plymouth is "flattered and privileged" to have been chosen as a baton bearer for the Commonwealth Games. Chris Gilchrist has been invited to run with the baton from Armada Way to New George Street on July 4.
Chris, one of the founding members of Plymouth-based dance crew Beat-Breakers, had to double-check the invitation email wasn't a prank because he was so amazed he had been selected. Chris was nominated to be a baton bearer by councillor Chaz Singh, amongst others.
