Argyle rank high for League One crowds

WHILE it has been a struggle for Plymouth Argyle to pick up points at the start of their 2025/26 League One season their attendances are among the best in the third tier of English football.

The Pilgrims have played four league games at Home Park, losing the first two to Barnsley (3-1) and Leyton Orient (1-0) before beating Blackpool (1-0) and Stockport County (4-2), and the average attendance has been 15,736.
That figure compares to 16,537 for their 2024/25 Championship campaign, and the difference between the two can be largely attributed to much smaller numbers of away fans.
