Uefa looks into penalty rule after Alvarez controversy
The Guardian
|March 14, 2025

Alvarez touched the ball with both his right and left foot in scoring past Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois on Wednesday. The video assistant referee overturned the effort, giving Madrid a slender advantage they went on to convert into victory.
