Secrets to getting a Glastonbury ticket
The usual sense of fervour is growing before the annual Glastonbury ticket sale, which begins at 9am tomorrow.
With the rumour mill turning round names like Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Olivia Rodrigo and Stevie Wonder as possible headliners – none of whom have remotely suggested they will be playing – the first tranche of tickets, bundled with coach travel, sold out in 30 minutes on Thursday, so it's worth being well prepared for the big moment.
Demand is expected to be very high – especially given that the festival is having a year off in 2026.
Get your computer set up properly The way it works this year is that everyone waiting on the ticket page when they go on sale will be randomly assigned a place in a queue. So if you aren't already on the page, you will not have the faintest chance of success. Make sure you are on the page "at least a few minutes before the sale opens", organisers say.
