Global banks' alliance to promote net zero policies is scrapped

The global banking industry’s net zero group yesterday said it was shutting down immediately.
The alliance was rocked by a wave of departures after Donald Trump’s return as US president and its remaining members have voted to transition to establishing “its guidance as a framework”.
“As a result of this decision, the Net Zero Banking Alliance will cease operations immediately,” confirmed a spokesperson.
