Europe's view: Even far-right voters want a win for Harris
The Guardian
|November 02, 2024
Most western Europeans - and even many who vote for far-right parties would like Kamala Harris to win next week, polling suggests.
The YouGov Eurotrack survey of voters in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Denmark found that Harris was the preferred winner in every country.
Denmark's voters were most eager to see Harris elected at 81%, followed by 71% in Germany, 65% in Spain, 62% in France and 61% in the UK. The 46% of Italians who felt the same was still almost double the percentage of those who favoured Trump.

Kemi offers imaginary budget numbers to imaginary audiences of her imaginary friends
You would think we were in the final three months of a general election campaign, not three and a half years out. Everywhere you look there's a party leader giving a press conference. Demanding attention from a public that just wants to be given a break. This far out from an election we're just dealing in political fever dreams.
