Animated White House response to South Park gets the brush-off

The South Park co-creator Trey Parker gave the briefest of responses on Thursday to anger from the White House over the premiere of the latest season, which showed a naked Donald Trump in bed with Satan.
"We're terribly sorry," Parker said, followed by a deadpan-comic stare. He had been asked for his reaction to the fracas on the stage at San Diego's Comic-Con International.
Earlier the White House had issued a statement on Wednesday's 27th season premiere episode. Unlike other characters, Trump is depicted as an actual photo on an animated body and in one scene as a naked hyperrealistic, deepfake video image. Repeated suggestions are made that his genitalia are small.
