West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first vs England

Harry Brook lost his first toss as England's full-time white-ball captain as West Indies skipper Shai Hope called correctly and opted to bowl first in the first ODI at Edgbaston.
Hope's decision, based on what he perceived to be favourable bowling conditions up top in this day-night fixture, will see England's new-look batting order put under the microscope. Brook announced on Wednesday that Jamie Smith will open for the first time in List A cricket, shifting up from No.3 where he struggled during the ICC Champions Trophy.
