Uni students honoured for volunteer work

TEESSIDE University has honoured students who have dedicated their time to volunteer work over the past year, shining a spotlight on their efforts.
The Volunteers Awards serve as a vibrant celebration of the incredible achievements of university volunteers.
Jane Golden, 55, the volunteering opportunities manager at Teesside University, said: "The Volunteers Awards truly mark the highlight of our calendar for the volunteering team at the university."
She added: "This is a wonderful opportunity for us to witness the significant impact our students have in the local community as well as through university projects.
"It’s an emotionally rewarding evening, and we're thrilled to see so many students recognized for their hard work."
