Time to create history and be Boro's new legends

MIDDLESBROUGH’S players have been set the challenge of becoming the next ‘legend’ in a long line of famous names associated with the club, as they look to write the next chapter in their history.

Rob Edwards is preparing his first promotion challenge on Teesside, with a clear goal of winning a place in the Premier League.

The former Luton Town boss has brought in coaches Adi Viveash and Harry Watling, and the latter is under no illusion over the expectations at the club. However, he’s keen to ensure that's a positive ahead of the Championship campaign.

He said: “It's a massive football club. When you work at a big football club, the expectation that has to be a privilege. Expect to win. We know where we want to get to at the moment. Right now, we just need to improve on what we've seen.
