MIDDLESBROUGH will be looking to strengthen their squad this summer and might look towards the three clubs relegated from the Championship this season for some potential bargain purchases.

The relegated players ripe for Boro's picking...

In what could end up being another busy summer at Boro, the club have initially set five priorities for the upcoming transfer window as they aim to strengthen at right-back, centre-back, central midfield, wide forward and striker. Their summer business is unlikely to be restricted to just five signings though, so looking towards the relegated clubs for players keen to stay in the Championship has merit.

Boro picked up Delano Burgzorg last summer as he was relegated while on loan at Huddersfield Town, proving they do have history of looking at such, while if you want definitive proof that it can wield positive results, you should look no further than Jack Rudoni, who's starred for Coventry City this season after being relegated alongside Burgzorg last term.

Here's a look at the players who might be worth taking a closer look at.

LUTON TOWN

Thomas Kaminski (goalkeeper)

While a new goalkeeper isn't on Boro's priority list as they look set to put faith in Sol Brynn after Mark Travers' loan spell, the situation with Tom Glover could end up meaning they do require a new keeper. Kaminski is a reliable stopper for this level but might seek first-team football.

Thelo Aasgaard (attacking midfielder)
