Standards are set, says jubilant Jones

ALFIE Jones says Middlesbrough players are determined to enjoy more moments like Saturday's post-match celebrations at Millwall, as they look to build consistency.

Boro have enjoyed a great start to the Championship season and sit second after the win at the Den. As well as winning both of their opening games for the first time in 31 years, they've kept two clean sheets and scored four goals, in what's been a really encouraging start for new boss Rob Edwards.

However, with Boro also losing 4-0 in between their Swansea and Millwall league wins, the head coach made sure to give a stern warning to his players as their celebrations in the capital died down. He noted the inconsistency from one performance to the next suggests a mentality issue, and he knows it's something he needs to rectify.
