Souness blast for Edwards after he abandons Boro job

But the former Middlesbrough midfielder insists the Boro job will be an attractive role for any manager, despite Rob Edwards’ decision to jump ship for Premier League side Wolves just four months into his tenure at the Riverside.

And he has backed Steve Gibson to get the right man to continue the good work Edwards started, with Boro mounting a strong Championship promotion challenge.
