Pushing for changes to make life better for all

This week was international day of people with disability (I prefer to say disabled people) and this year the theme is improving social progress.

Every year the theme changes and it provides a point in time to look at the same issue (lack of inclusion of disabled people) from a different view point.

Basically what we still end up talking about it how hard it can be for disabled people to go to school, find somewhere to live and have a decent job, but to be fair that could apply to lots of different people.

Social progression is a hard one to define.

It can mean different things to different people. I have taken it to be how can we get more disabled people in to work.

Every government seems to have a different version of some sort of scheme to help this happen.
