MARTON stay second after an emphatic eight wicket win at home to Norton.

The visitors decided to bat first and Kenzie Peakman top scored with 32 not out, but Sam Berry with 4-40 and Muhammad Irfan 3-27 kept them down to 141 all out.
Marton opener Ryan Gibson smashed 68 not out from 33 balls, alongside Lee Hodgson who blasted 61 not out from 27 balls, to canter home to victory on 142-2.
Hartlepool needed a win to stay in the title race, and did it in style. Great Ayton decided to bat first in need of survival points.
