A PROJECT that inspires young people using the power of music is submitting a bid for funding.
(MIDDLESBROUGH COUNCIL)
Musinc, hosted by Middlesbrough Council, is bidding for £100,000 so it can improve its offerings to the town’s young talent.
An extra studio, which would be kitted out with high-quality professional recording equipment, would be created if the council's application to Better Youth Spaces, a £30.5m fund created by the government, is successful.
Councillor Philippa Storey, Middlesbrough’s deputy mayor and executive member for culture and education, described the bid as “very strong” and voiced her hope that there would be an opportunity for investment.
