Festival will champion live music

SINGLE-DAY EVENT WILL SEE A PLETHORA OF MUSICIANS

THE Gathering Sounds Festival has unveiled its first wave of acts. The music festival is returning to Stockton later this year.

The one-day event will again see emerging artists from across the UK, Ireland and beyond performing across seven venues, with the aim of championing the next generation of live music performers. Previous line-ups have seen early appearances from the lines of Andrew Cushin, The K's, The Royston Club, Red Rum Club, The Clause, Stanleys, and ZELA.

More than 50 acts in total are set to play across venues throughout the town centre this year - all within a five minute walk and covered by a single ticket.

This year's festival will also see the introduction of two new venues - The Link and The Green Room.
