PHILTA-ranked players set to see action in 24th Gullas Tennis Cup

A bunch of Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA)-ranked players will strut their wares in the highly anticipated Gullas Tennis Cup 2025, which is making a return after a seven-year hiatus for its 24th edition on October 17-20 at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club in Barangay Pardo and at Citigreen Tennis Resort in Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.

In a press conference via Zoom yesterday, the organizers led by Jose Miguel “JMi” Gullas, his uncle Johnvic Gullas, John Pages, and Jun Tabura announced that a total of 180 racquet-wielders from Cebu, Leyte, Bohol, Surigao del Norte, Negros Oriental, La Carlota City, Iloilo, South Cotabato and Siquijor will be competing in the four-day tilt.

Joseph Tomo from Melbourne, Australia will also be coming over to showcase his skills.

The boys 14 and 16 Under drew the most number of entries with 28 each followed by the unisex 10 Under with 24, the boys 18 Under with 23, and the boys 12 Under with 17.

The girls 14 and 16 Under have attracted 16 competitors apiece while the girls 12 and 18 Under have an identical 14 participants.
