The Pag-IBIG Fund announced a significant rise in investment income during the first four months of 2025, reinforcing its role in helping Filipino workers grow their savings and gain better access to affordable housing.

From January to April 2025, the Fund earned P2.73 billion from its investments—a 50% increase compared to P1.81 billion during the same period last year. This was driven by well-placed investments in bonds, money market instruments, equities, and real estate properties, according to the agency.

Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene C. Acosta credited the growth to prudent financial management and a balanced investment strategy. “Our investments are carefully planned to provide strong returns while ensuring funds are available for members’ housing and short-term loan needs,” Acosta said.
