The Mandaue Traffic Enforcement Agency (T.E.A.M.) proposes to conduct traffic study within three months as basis for reconfiguring traffic light timers across the city.

- Lynda Katherine B. Mecaros, UP Cebu Intern/IHM

This, as the agency aims to address the longstanding concern of traffic congestion and the growing volume of vehicles operating within the city.

T.E.A.M. head Hyll Retuya said that while timer adjustments are part of regular traffic management measures, it cannot be performed without proper data analysis.

He also noted that the most recent adjustments were made last year, which prompted the need for a new study.
